Following a Structure Will!
One Course.
Start to Finish.
No Guesswork.
I created The Billy Watman Method to bring years of experience teaching and playing guitar into one complete course - built to teach you the right way, from the ground up.
Too many guitarists get stuck learning randomly: a tutorial here, a song there, no real order to any of it. Random learning leads to random progress.
This course exists to fix that. It's built to help you truly master the guitar on your own terms - giving you full control over your learning, a solid grasp of every essential skill, and the ability to learn by ear and create your own arrangements.
Once you've mastered everything inside, the only limit left is how far you want to take it.

If you've seen my videos online - the covers, the arrangements, the way a song gets reworked and made to sound like something completely different - this course is how you get there. Everything you're watching didn't happen by accident. It's built on years of practice, technique, and a way of understanding the guitar that took me a long time to piece together on my own.
This course is that same process, broken down and laid out in order, so you don't have to figure it out the hard way like I did.
I'm not just teaching you songs or tricks you can copy for a week and forget. I'm teaching you the actual skills behind what you're seeing.
And once you're in, it's yours for good - one payment, lifetime access, so you can come back to it for as long as you're playing.

How the Course is Structured
My guitar method is built around three stages, each one laying the groundwork for the next.
Foundations builds the solid base every guitarist needs - proper technique from day one, so nothing holds you back later on.
Fretboard Freedom takes you beyond fixed shapes and patterns, helping you understand the fretboard itself so you can make the most of the guitar, not just memorize your way around it.
Technical Mastery brings it all together - advanced techniques, refined control, and everything you need to truly master the guitar.
Three stages. One clear path from first note to independent guitarist.
About Me
I'm Billy Watman - a guitarist who's built a career on turning familiar songs into something you don't expect. Trained at the Royal College of Music and shaped by my Anglo-Brazilian roots, my playing blends classical precision and flamenco fire with the rock, pop, and disco tracks most people never imagine hearing that way - all on a single guitar.
What started as a deep, technical grounding in classical guitar grew into a style that's now reached over 750k+ followers online, through arrangements that reshape the songs people already love. Alongside performing and creating content, I teach guitar one-to-one, working with students at every level to build the same structured, foundation-first approach that shaped my own playing.
Whether I'm performing live, creating content, or teaching, my approach stays the same - technical mastery in service of genuine musical freedom.
That teaching experience is what led me to create The Billy Watman Method - a complete guitar course built to give you the same clear, structured path I wish I'd had starting out: one that takes you from your very first chords to playing with real independence, by ear, and entirely on your own terms.
