About Me
I'm Billy Watman — a guitarist who's built a career on turning familiar songs into something you don't expect. Trained at the Royal College of Music and shaped by my Anglo-Brazilian roots, my playing blends classical precision and flamenco fire with the rock, pop, and disco tracks most people never imagine hearing that way — all on a single guitar.
What started as a deep, technical grounding in classical guitar grew into a style that's now reached over 750k+ followers online, through arrangements that reshape the songs people already love. Alongside performing and creating content, I teach guitar one-to-one, working with students at every level to build the same structured, foundation-first approach that shaped my own playing.
That teaching experience is what led me to create The Billy Watman Method — a complete guitar course built to give you the same clear, structured path I wish I'd had starting out: one that takes you from your very first chords to playing with real independence, by ear, and entirely on your own terms.
